    Handsome fold-out 1947 Texaco road map of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, printed more than 69 years ago.
    This map opens to 23" x 32" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally.
    One side shows Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, with information on ferries and toll bridges.
    There's a map of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont on the other side, along with an inset of Canada's Maritimes, including Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.
    The map was distributed by Texaco in 1947 and is dated by the code number in the lower margin: 7-454213-6. The code number on the cover is 67. The cover artwork shows a Texaco gas station sign, with the "Paper is Precious! Please do not throw this map away" message.
