    Description

    Up for consideration is a fine hand painted Antique faux leather 3 panel room divider or screen. It dates from about from the 1920's or so. There is some condition issues however it's overall appearance is outstanding. Each panel measures about 20 inches wide with a height of 72"...that means flat against the wall it is 62 by about 72 inches high. It is free standing. There is some heavy craquelure and some old repairs. The panel on left side has paint touchups in the upper center. There is also a tear about inches in the mid section. Likewise there is some wear ling patterns on the back plain side. Please understand this is not a new piece and has lot's of character. These pieces are sought after by decorators as well as private collectors. I have seen them disassembled and mounted on walls with even some distance between the pieces. It could stand a good oiling or varnishing to bring out the color.
