Mohawkite nugget polished on at least one surface. Could be Silver.
Because these reflect sunlight so well, it is very difficult to get a good picture without glare.
This material is PROBABLY from Michigan. There is a small possibility it is Silver Ore. I have metal detected hundreds of Gold/Silver/Copper mines and tailing piles all over North America in the 40 plus years I swung a detector. Unless it looked like big money and sold almost immediately it all went into a large pile laying in my pasture. Quite a few of my finds have been there for 30 or 40 years, I cant remember where most items were found.
