Antique LAVENDER PURPLE Opaque Milk Glass LIGHTNING ROD BALL 4 3/8” w End Collar

Description

This lovely antique lightening rod ball is an estate find. The color of the opaque glass is a soft shade of purple amethyst or lavender. The two silver colored end caps/collars are in very good condition and are likely reproductions. The ball has a mold seam on each side dividing it in half. Without the proper tools, I’m measuring it as having a diameter of 4 3/8 inches.
CONDITION: It is free of visible chips or cracks. A few dark marks/flecks. A little blue paint near one end. As pictured.
