Description

Antique Weathervane -Yellow-painted Steer made with Molded Copper and Cast Zinc with weighted head. Very Similiar to a weathervane sold by Skinner Auctioneers shown in the last photo with black background. A few gilt spots, verdigris on the copper. Purchased by my family in New England. Damaged in a fall - Horns lost, three split copper welds(1.5" on neck, 5.5" along the back and .5" behind front hoof) and dents as shown. Hollow body design makes restoration a real possibility. Dimensions 23 X 12 with an 18.75" crossbar with hole for mounting. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
