    ~ Estate sale find - vintage Koa Wood bowl by Dan De Luz of Hawaiian Handcraft ~ Bowl measures 7.5" at its widest diameter and 3 1/8" tall. ~ Stamped on the underside: "HAWAIIAN HANDCRAFT Made in Hilo, Hawaii", "KOA", and "Custom Crafted by Dan De Luz" ~ Condition very good overall. A few small scuffs to the sides and what looks like small insect damage to a few spots on the underside. I've examined these holes under light and they are vary shallow, so unlikely they were termites. Possibly a small wood-boring beetle, and they look very old. No other issues.     A member of Dan's family, who knows his work well, has indicated to me that this is an early piece of his, probably dating before 1970.
    Bowl measures 7.5" at its widest diameter and 3 1/8" tall.
    Stamped on the underside: "HAWAIIAN HANDCRAFT Made in Hilo, Hawaii", "KOA", and "Custom Crafted by Dan De Luz"
