Grateful Dead Fans !!! - Mid-'80's Dead Fans !! - Fans of " The Greek " !!! ... & Fans of Dark Star !!!!!  Offered here is one of the most " Quintessential ! " pieces of Grateful Dead Tour Shirt History that there is - and especially 1980's G.D. History !  As we lovers of our '80's Live-Dead ! each know just-exactly who we are ! ... & --- " We Are Everywhere " !!!  And, as for the Shirt design emblem images themselves ... completely incredible ' visually ' - just speaking entirely for themselves - Concrete Pillars ! - a Red Rose ! - and the Moon Rising ! in the background !!  And on the Shirt back ... " Grateful Dead Greek Theatre July 13, 14 & 15, 1984 "!!!  And the vital meaning of this Ultra Rare Vintage-Original G.D. Classic ??  Well, not only is it the Grateful Dead playing " At The Greek ! " perched beautifully on the top of the U.C. Berkeley ( Cal ! ) Campus - but it also ( as who would have ever known then ) meant the triumphant " Return ! " of Dark Star !!! played Live by the Dead, for the first time in 5-Years ( since 1979 )! - Dark Star !!!  Played as the " Encore " on the 7/13 opening-night Show, as a shooting-star fell - and was seen somewhere up above in outer-space - between the Greek Theatre, and the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, naturally ...  I actually went to Cal as a student - in a time ( and galaxy ) far-far away ... and can definitely say this : no " campus " anywhere ! has an Outdoor Venue/Music Space just quite-like the Greek Theatre.  It has all of the history, nostalgia, and all of that yes - but it is an unmatched " Music-Experience " when it comes to the topic of Outdoor ' Open-Air ' Venues.  Nothing like it, really.  The Frost ( Stanford U. ) is sweet, indeed ... as is the Cuthbert in Eugene ( kind-of U of O ? ) ... but when you get down there on the concrete-pit of The Greek ! ... the seats ( benches ), or even on the grass ( no pun intended - Ha! ) -- right ' While ! ' the amps are pumping & thumping ... and Blammmo !!!  It's actually insane just how-good it hits you - as it must be something to do with the concrete barrier wall behind the stage ?  Or maybe ?  Just because it's the one & only ... Greek !!!  And as for this treasure of a G.D. vintage-tee ?  Just an absolutely-fantastic ... G.D. & Greek Classic !!!  Completely-fantastic, as I can actually say that the photos ( just about ) do it the visual-justice it rightfully deserves.  And also, attention to all of the " Collector's " out there too... as this is indeed the " Dark Blue " version of this Show-Sold Shirt - as these were also Show-Sold in an " Aqua " colored Shirt version too.  And, at least in my own opinion - the " Aqua " version is certainly quite " Mid-'80's " in its look, whereas this-here " Dark Blue " one? ... it is the True " Classic "!!!  At least to me, and my ... " Eyes Of The World " - Hah !  And in fact... Bobby Weir himself ! actually stage-wore a " Greek " Shirt at the Legendary! '85 Summer Tour Riverbend ( Ohio ) Show ! ... much-better known to many Fans as the " 1985 " Show selection for " 30 Trips Around The Sun "!  And yep, you betcha... Bobby cut the sleeves & collar off on his ( Yeah Bobby !! ) - but, you know ... that's just Ace ! & all.  Maybe not the best idea to do with this one here ?  Ha !  But, you know - as after all ... Rock & Roll is ... Rock & Roll !!!  Without any shadow of the doubt ... Truly ! one-of the Grate-est ! G.D. Shirts ever-issued, and I think that I will likely always feel that way... until the end of time. --- " The Greek !!! " ... Enjoy !!!!!!!

As this is a used vintage collectible shirt - here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection :

>>> light stains on shirt (please see photos/close-up photos).
>>> light cracking/fading of design image emblems (please see photos/close-up photos).
>>> slight fading of shirt material fabric dyes (please see photos/close-up photos).
>>> very-slightly tilted design image emblems - which was very common for nearly-all ( if not all ) of these ' Grateful Dead Greek Theatre 1984 ' concert shirts issued in all shirt sizes - L, XL, etc. (please see photos/close-up photos).
