Hello. For your consideration is this in brand new old stock vintage Grateful Dead 1995 Summer Tour Highgate, Vermont t-shirt. This was the first show (6/15/95) on the East Coast portion of the very last GD summer tour in 1995. There were several more east coast shows, followed by midwest shows to the end the tour in Chicago on 7/9/95. It is venue specific tour shirt. It is beautifully tie dyed and the graphics artwork was done by Chis Pinkerton. The graphics show some great farm scenes with farm animals and fencing posts to spell out the “Highgate” on the front, with an SYF “alien” crop circle cut into the field in the back ground. The back graphics across the top has “Grateful Dead” with the lettering made of nailed together scrap boards...very cool! And the scene on the back is awesome, with a cow cutting into the wheat field a lightning bolt, apparently finishing up the alien crop circle SYF on the front, driving a tractor with an SYF on the front of it and the words “Hay Now”—haha—on its lower front!!
It is a beautifully designed XL t-shirt, made in the USA by Liquid Blue. This design was done by Chris Pinkerton. It has the GDM copyright credits with the year 1995 on the front and back below the graphics as well as Pinkerton’s printed signature on the front. The silkscreened graphics are excellent with no wear or pealing or cracking. This shirt is a size XL and measures 23 inches across the chest and 31 inches in length. Very cool Grateful Dead vintage 1995 tour shirt from the Summer Tour east coast’s first venue stop in Highgate at the Franklin County Airport on 6/15/95...what a blast! This shirt is like the day it was purchased, and has never been worn or washed! It has no stains, odors, rips, tears, or holes. It is in mint condition, and you very very rarely come across a 26 year old shirt that looks as new as the day it was packed away.
This vintage GD 1995 t-shirt is in excellent brand new old stock condition. It has never been worn or washed. This shirt has been neatly folded and sealed in a large zip-lock bag (last photo) stored inside a sealed plastic tote with other collected GD tour shirts for decades.
