Lightning rod weathervane - brass Standing Horse by D&S

Description

All brass standing horse no repairs but it does need a few. Hoofs are good condition. But two have seam separations and rear hoof has been bent a bit and straightened but did n it return to original shape . Firmly intact on vane, but front arrow bends some to one side and back bends down a little. Tail of horse missing very end portion on one side only. Seam separations: along back from neck to tail, belly and extends a little ways down theigh of leg. Along middle of back soldering tab held but ripped along edges and ripped little bit one side. However, when seam is put together the damage is not that unsightly. 5/6th year where belly meets back leg and 1/4 tear opposite end too. Original gold leafing remains in places. Could be a cool piece if properly restored. Horse has not been reattached to back arrow and firmly attached.one see rear has been dented inward.. 23 1/4 long x 9 1/2 tall.
