Bouismas Mine, Agdz, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
This outstanding specimen of native silver displays patches of pure silver crystals which is unusual from its locality. The native silver growth seems to have no other minerals associated with the silver and only displays purely silver growth which is rare and uncommon in native minerals. The silver is bright under sunlight and grows in calcite and in between the darker host rock. Note that the silver growth is deposited only on the calcite and not the darker mineral. This is a perfect specimen that geologically illustrated the natural silver growth in calcite and separated from the host rock's darker mineral.
