    Description

    From my own collection I will let go some rather rare French made Rudipontain Lasso reels. These uniquely designed reels all feature a lasso shaped bail that winds the line in an alternating way around a fixed shallow spool (that does not move up and down). They were made in France in the late 40's and 50's of the 20th century and intended for ultra light to medium light spin fishing. These well made reels you will not come across often. Especially the double handled versions are quite rare and hard to find today. The five reels that I am offering are all different versions. Check the pictures to see how they differ in detail. They are all in good working condition and in very good to excellent used/vintage condition (see pics).
    The model featured here is an unpainted all metal version with double handle (for left handed casting). It could well be a prototype. It features a metal spool (w/o cup) with a metal button to adjust the tension. In all my years of collecting I haven't seen a similar version. It is a truly rare piece. So, why not take a chance to ad this incredibly rare piece of French angling history to your collection.
