    Description

    Federal Model 28 motor driven siren (M8BB2)
    This siren provides the robust authority of most Federal products, quick to respond, with the sound and distinctive  quality of "old school" emergency vehicle sirens. Not sure if it is 6 or 12volts, but was tested on the later. The face screen is near flawless, and the bezel has a minimum of tiny dings. I do not have the dust shield normally found on the motor. A note about the mounting base; It had a significant crack that was repaired by a certified welder near the sellers location. This left the base with unsightly grinder marks. They have been filled with body surfacer and painted to match aluminum. The repair is strong and will not likely be a problem with proper mounting. Will ship USPS Priority Mail.
