Luxor  Supreme No.2R50 spin reel
This medium size spin reel was made in the 50s & and weighs 12.5oz. It is in excellent condition & works great. It has a smooth drag, good anti-reverse, strong bail, smooth gears, and a brown
colored metal body. This reel has a 3.9/1 gear ratio and will hold 290 yds. of 8 lb. test, it is a top quality reel, one of the very best spins reels ever made, it is a grade 9+/9+. The finish has no paint wear but the inside of the spool has oxidation, it comes with an extra spool so switching spools would make it close to mint. This is the second of Four sizes of Luxor's made in this time period and I still fish with these today. there were few reels of this quality, I have fished several of these heavily over the past 30 years and have seen virtually no wear. The Brown reels were only made until 1953.

The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
