Vintage Point 707 Heavy Action Spinning Reel. Made In Japan.

Offering one huge Spinning Reel from Japan. Fairly certain that it was manufactured for a Department Store (Probability Montgomery Ward) by Compac. Definitely not designed for repetitive casting. Basically a surf or jetty reel. Anyhow it's very well made.
Mechanically sound. Antireverse, bail, drag (hand tested) all work as designed. Should be at least partially dissembled, cleaned and lubed. I don't have time anymore. Could use the lube port, open and spray with penetrating oil close port shake vigorously and let it set a few minutes, shake it some and start reeling, open port and let drain. Once drained apply lubricant, close port. Clean the drag washers too and add a little drag grease.
