Vintage Roddy 820 A
This medium size spin reel was made in Japan, by Olympic in the 60s & early 70s, it weighs12.7 oz. It will hold 290 yds. of 10 lb. test. It is in excellent condition and everything works perfectly. There is only lite marks in the paint, and it looks great, and is solid. The bail, drag, gears, and anti-reverse all work great, the helical style worm gears are the better way to go. This reel has a 3.5/1 gear ratio and it is a grade 9/9+. Its a great reel to fish with, and a good quality fishing reel that's been serviced.
The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
