For the avid aficionado of weathervanes, here is an old one to wear on your jacket or coat.
Cast of metal and plated, the two-pronged cast piece is known as a pin clip, i.e., made as a brooch but with the sharp double prongs that allow it to pierce fur or heavy wool.
This weathervane figural portrays an eagle landing on the directional perch. He or she looks fierce.
The plated metal does show some wear due to age.
