Up for sale is a Mitchell Moulinet 300 Half Bail Vintage Spinning Reel in VERY GOOD COSMETIC CONDITION and excellent MECHANICAL condition.
The Moulinet type of Mitchell reel refers to the type of Rotating Head Pick-up spring that is used to control the bail arm. I made sure to include two photos to show the “V” type of Rotating Head Pick-up spring that is associated with the Mitchell

ail ½ spinning reel; the photos are number 11 & 12.

The reel is well-built; all parts are functioning as they should including the half bail. There is some surface wear, on the exterior Black finish, near the back end of the reel, on the rotating head, on the leg/foot. It is likely that all of the parts are original parts, except the handle, but, I cannot say this for certain because I am not the original owner of the reel.
The reels cast and retrieve line properly, the anti-reverse lever works properly, the drag work well, the reel spins freely, the bail snaps shut, and the handle operates properly. The reel has been used but was treated well.
I have disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and reassembled the reel. The reel is in GREAT condition.
